Entry & Refund Policy
Last updated: April 2026
§ 1 Entry conditions & house rules
Buying a ticket does not guarantee entry. Admission to all INSOMNIA Berlin events is subject to the communicated entry conditions, in particular dress code, gender balance, behaviour, condition of the person, safety considerations, and the final assessment of the door team.
House rules are exercised by the organiser and the security staff on duty. Entry can be refused if the requirements for the respective event are not met.
§ 2 Exclusion of the right of withdrawal
For date-bound leisure events there is generally no right of withdrawal pursuant to § 312g para. 2 no. 9 BGB. This applies in particular to events that take place on a specific date or within a specific period of time.
§ 3 Requirements for a refund
A refund is only possible if entry was refused at the door and the security staff photographed the ticket on site and marked it as rejected.
Without this documented confirmation by the door team, no refund can be processed or paid out.
§ 4 Refund amount
If entry is refused for any of the documented reasons listed under § 3 — whether for behavioural reasons (e.g. dress code, behaviour in the queue, heavy intoxication) or organisational reasons (e.g. gender balance, capacity management) — the following uniform rule applies:
Refund amount: Ticket price − €5.00
The processing fee of €5.00 covers payment provider, card, transaction and administrative costs. A flat fee of €5.00 is retained in every case — regardless of the reason for refusal of entry.
§ 5 Exclusion after successful entry
After successful entry, refunds are excluded in any case.
